Most of us juggle work and life, and learning to live a fulfilling life is no easy task. Why?
For some of us, it doesn't have to be a long life, as long as it was a life full of achievement, happiness, and no regrets. But how many of us actually experience that fully? Sometimes it sounds more like an impossible dream, a fantasy rather than reality.
It is a common mistake to think that you must sacrifice certain parts of your full life to fulfill others, from work, health and relationships.
Maybe you are overwhelmed by all the daily demands. Maybe you feel like you don't have enough time and energy. Or maybe you just haven't wasted your own strengths and potential to achieve everything you want in life, and in times of adversity, you just give up trying to balance them .
And then you will also get comments from some, saying that this 'full life' is only possible if you are so rich that you don't have to worry about working, paying bills or supporting your Family. While there is some truth to that, I am pleased to say that financial freedom is not the only answer to living a fulfilling life.
But here is the truth:
We cannot afford to keep exchanging one important part of our lives for another. No one can achieve true happiness in this way.
The reality is that different aspects of your life are interrelated and interdependent. Everything influences the other; for example, poor Family life can ruin your career, and poor health can ruin everything.
What you don't realize is that you will pay consequences later if you change one thing to achieve another right now.
The secret is not only to balance all areas of your life, but also to excel in them.
